Area formulas for a triangle in the alpha plane

In this paper, we give three area formulas for a triangle in the alpha planein terms of the alpha distance. The two of them are alpha versions of the standard area formula for a triangle in the Euclidean plane, and the third one is an alpha version of the well-known Heron's formula.
