Two-dimensional models of linearly elastic shells: estimates of the difference between their solutions

We consider a family of linearly elastic shells, all having the same middle surface which we assume to be uniformly elliptic. We give an error estimate between the solution of Koiter's model and the solution of the `membrane-dominated' problem of shells. The proof uses a method of correctors.
