A methodology for using morsels continuous linear functions in gradient optimisation of electrical devices

This paper explains how to integrate morsels continuous linear functions to analytical models, calculating the gradient as strictly as possible, in order to perform optimisation. The example of inductance in terms of rotor position in the switched reluctance motor (SRM) is given.
