Neural networks are relevant statistical methods that we used todetermine the GMFs of NSCAT and QSCAT scatterometer. They arewell-suited for non-linear regression but they also can give moreinformation than just the mean of a conditional distribution of data. Wehave also determined a function which estimates the conditional varianceof QSCAT measurements following the previous works on NSCATmeasurements
