Using only geometrical methods we come to an orthogonalization process in the Linear Model which allows to reduce its study to simpler orthogonal models, giving a simple methodology for its analysis. The process is applied to the parametrized model, showing that it allows to treat, in a new and unified way, interesting situations which are usually studied separately: data centering, mean shift model, added variable plots, etc.
