We investigate numerically the collapse of a cavitation bubble. The stiffened gas EOS is used for both the gas and the liquid. For the discretization, we use the non-conservative Abgrall-Saurel approach together with a second order extension. The efficiency of the numerical scheme is significantly improved by employing local grid adaptation and wavelet compression.
