On unitary equivalence of invariant subspaces of the Dirichlet space

It is shown that in the Dirichlet space , two invariant subspaces ℳ ₁, ℳ ₂ of the Dirichlet shift Mz are unitarily equivalent only if ℳ ₁ = ℳ ₂.
