Effect of fusicoccin on the stomata development in cotyledons of Cercis siliquastrum L. In the cotyledons of isolated embryos of Cercis siliquastrum L. treated with fusicoccin we observe degeneration phenomena of the stomata. We also note that the number of the degenerated and normal stomata in the treated cotyledons is lower than the number of normal stomata in the controls. We point out the peculiar sensitivity of the stomatal apparatus to fusicoccin treatment.
