In the present paper we introduce notions of $v$-porosity and $v$-porouscontinuity.We investigate some properties of $v$-poroucontinuity and its connectionswith porouscontinuity introduced by Borsík and Holos. Moreover, we showthat $v$-porouscontinuous functions may not belong to Baire class 1.
